The set is a static set with three levels:- Stage level, 1.8m side towers and a 2m central tower. This gives the set real depth and allows many areas of the set to be used for the different scenes as well as separating the present day action from the action back in the 80's. For smaller venues with no flying facilities it is almost impossible to give your show the backdrop it deserves. SCENEgineering has developed a new concept in set design to resolve this. The set consists of 5 prisms, each mounted on a rotating platform. Each prism is 3 sided and 1.2m wide by 2.4m high. When lined up the set has a total depth of 1.2m and is 6m wide. It operates on the same principal as advertising billboards in that on each group of faces is displayed a different scene and when the faces line up, the full picture is revealed. Rotate each prism 120 degrees and you have the next scene, another 120 degrees and you have the final scene. This would also be perfect for a corporate event backdrop or similar as our scenic artists can create any backdrop you require.
Small venue set pictures show Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, other sets available, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Aladdin, pictures available on request.
